This series highlights the emotions and vibes of the song Strawberry Fields Forever by The Beatles (1967). The whole song has a very ominous and foreboding feeling to it, almost creepy at times. It's basically just a song about hippie-dippie acid rock nonsense. I chose to focus around a more psychedelic and avant-grade way of taking and editing my photos. I wanted to capture the essence of hallucinogenic imagery through the various editing effects. The photos have manipulations that simulate a trippy viewing experience, making the viewer question what is real. I did not want to take clear and concise photos, coinciding with the vibe of the song. Certain objects and landscapes of the photos are saturated with a bleak background, showing the stark difference between the hallucinogenic imagery and reality.
